We proudly sponsored and attending UDINZ’s first Development Pipeline event in Auckland recently. 115 attended the event held at the Simpson Grierson offices in the CBD, despite the gusting winter weather. They heard some of Auckland’s leading industry professionals including Steve Evans, CEO of Fletcher Living, Andrew Crosby, CEO of Universal Homes, and more.
The presentors focused on developing places with good connectivity, a strong connection to nature/land, and built around how people want to live and connect with one another. In addition to this, they also touched on how people live in both new planned communities, and in well-designed medium-density living in city suburbs. It created a real excitement on what is coming for Auckland.
We are excited for the rest of the events lined up in the Development Pipeline series. We think it is important to know what others are doing locally, and found this event to have a positive outlook on the urban development industry – which makes us super proud to sponsor this event!
