The Boom Inn – Baambrugge, The Netherlands
Petra Verboom is the owner of The Boom Inn, a charming Bed & Breakfast located in a beautifully renovated early 20th-century dike house in Baambrugge, The Netherlands. When she completed the full renovation of her property in 2019, sustainability was a top priority.
“I was brought up to be a responsible human being,” Petra shares. “A couple of years ago, I realized that every individual can make a meaningful difference—especially when it comes to reducing water and energy consumption. The time to act is now.”
With that mindset, Petra seized the opportunity to install a Hydraloop water recycling system as part of her renovation. The compact unit fits neatly within the limited space of the historic home and integrates easily with the dual water system she planned for the property.
While there were a few technical hiccups at the start, Petra was impressed by Hydraloop’s swift and proactive customer support.
“The support team actually noticed the issues before I did—thanks to the remote monitoring system—and resolved everything within 24 hours.”
Since installation, the Hydraloop unit has been running smoothly, contributing to the inn’s eco-conscious operations and aligning perfectly with Petra’s values.
“I’m still happy with it every day. I would absolutely recommend Hydraloop to anyone looking to make a positive impact.”
At The Boom Inn, comfort meets conscience—where every drop saved makes a difference.
